The Orangeville & Area SBEC is hosting a Selling Food in Ontario workshop on Thursday, March 21, 2019, from 1-4 p.m. at the Tony Rose Memorial Sports Centre.
The workshop will be an excellent opportunity for area food entrepreneurs to develop their businesses — whether they’re at the beginning stages, or planning to expand.
In the resource-packed session, a panel of experts will provide current information about food business regulations and supports available to entrepreneurs in the agri-food sector. Attendees will also hear expert advice on getting products in the right retail space.
Representatives from the Ontario Ministry of Agriculture, Food and Rural Affairs (OMAFRA) and Wellington-Dufferin-Guelph Public Health will be on hand to explain how to ensure you are meeting safety standards and provide guidance on pricing, packaging, and distribution channels.
