The 9th Annual Farmers of Uxbridge Night is coming up on Thursday, August 30, at the Uxbridge Arena Community Hall (291 Brock St W). Admission is free.
The night will offer the opportunity to network, learn from interactive displays, visit the Durham Farm Connections exhibit, purchase local produce, meet local farmers and more.

On Saturday, September 1, the Durham Region Plowmen’s Association Plowing Match is also taking place in Uxbridge at Brooks Farms (141 Ashworth Road).
The Plowing Match will begin at 8:30 a.m., with lunch served at 12 noon.
The York Region Plowing Match will then begin at 1 p.m. at the same location.
