Monday, August 26, 2019

Albion Hills Community Farm is hosting a Honey & Garlic Fest on Saturday, September 28, 2019, from 11 a.m. – 4 p.m., in Caledon (16555 Humber Station Road).

The festival will have local honey and garlic vendors, farm talks, walks, community organizations, entertainment, demonstrations, an escape garlic room and more.

There will be an opportunity to: plant garlic with Peel 4H, crack garlic & of course eat garlic, go on a bee walk, and celebrate the Humber River Canadian Heritage River 20th Anniversary with Kim Wheatley, Anishinaabe traditional grandmother and knowledge keeper, who will share sacred water teachings as participants assemble a mosaic entitled Water is Life.

The festival is free to attend but a food donation for Caledon Community Service Food Hub is much appreciated. Cash only for vendors and other activities.
