An Exploring Value-Added Opportunities Workshop in Durham Region has been designed to help farm and rural entrepreneurs generate value-added opportunities for their businesses on Friday, March 31, from 9 a.m. – 3:30 p.m. in Sunderland.
The course aims to help participants increase their profits through the creation of new products and services or value-added opportunities.
The course will help attendees:
- Generate new ideas for value-added products and services;
- Assess your idea’s business potential;
- Identify and manage potential risks; and,
- Determine and plan what it takes to turn your idea into reality.
The workshop is being held at the Sunderland Memorial Arena Auditorium, 20 Park Street, Sunderland, and costs $20 per participant (which includes workshop materials, lunch & coffee breaks).
The workshop is hosted by the Township of Brock Economic Development Advisory Committee, OMAFRA, the Brock Board of Trade (BBOT), and the Region of Durham.
