Save the Date!
The Friends of the Greenbelt Foundation, in partnership with the Golden Horseshoe Food and Farming Alliance, is hosting a free one-day workshop and bus tour on small plot agriculture in Niagara-on-the-Lake on Tuesday, September 18, 2018.
The workshop will be relevant to planners, economic developers, agri-food organizations, farmers, and other stakeholders interested in learning about small plot agriculture and its economic opportunities.
The workshop will provide delegates with:
- an introduction to small plot agriculture
- successful examples and best practices
- an opportunity to visit small plot farms
The first part of the workshop will take place at the NOTL Community Centre (14 Anderson Ln). From there, attendees will then board a bus and take a tour to visit and learn about successful small plot farms in the area.
Stay tuned for an RSVP link. There is no cost to attend this event, but there is a limit of 40 people.
